Dongmei Wang

About

Dongmei Wang is a researcher in Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services Research Group. Her current research focuses on innovating new technologies for advancing transcribing and understanding of multi-talker speech conversations. She has developed the ad hoc array based speech separation front-end for meeting transcription, the end-to-end speaker diarization system for handling any number of speakers, etc. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dongmei Wang worked in Qualcomm as a senior research engineer focusing on Hearable project. She obtained her PhD degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas. The topic of her PhD thesis was on speech enhancement for improving speech intelligibility for the cochlear implant recipients.
