Edir Garcia Lazo is a Senior Data Scientist on the Security Copilot core research team. There he is exploring the capabilities of Large Language Model conversational systems within the domain of cybersecurity. Researching and developing proof of concepts ideas that further push the innovation boundaries of such systems focused on cybersecurity operations centers, threat intelligence and incident response.
He was previously on the Cybersecurity artificial intelligence threat prevention team. He was responsible for reverse engineering, analyzing and visualizing malware, designing and implementing machine learning, deep learning, behavioral traps, and anti-virus Signatures for Microsoft Defender.
His main research interest is understanding and expanding the applicability of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning to the Cybersecurity space, as well as the security of Artificial Intelligence systems themselves.
