About
I am a Research SDE in the Cloud Efficiency team within Azure Systems Research. Currently, I focus on improving the generality and efficiency of serverless computing.
I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 2022. My dissertation focused on designing a control plane for managing densely geo-distributed edge micro-datacenters. In addition, I worked on data management for geo-distributed applications and real-time video analytics frameworks for streaming cameras. I also obtained an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica.
Broadly speaking, I am interested in large-scale systems and the design of runtime frameworks to improve the execution of distributed applications.
