About
I am a Senior Researcher in the Biomedical Imaging – Microsoft Research (opens in new tab) team at Microsoft Health Futures – Microsoft Research (opens in new tab). (opens in new tab) My research interests include machine learning, image analysis, computer vision, and multimodal data analysis for healthcare. I explore machine learning solutions aimed towards improving patient outcomes and clinical workflows.
Prior to joining Microsoft, I was a postdoctoral researcher in biomedical image analysis at the University of Oxford, where I worked on multimodal analysis methods to model sonographic experience in fetal ultrasound. I received my PhD in computer vision from the Technical University of Berlin with a strong focus on image analysis and machine learning for digital histopathology. I received my master’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.
