Huaying Xue

About

I have been working as a researcher at Media Computing Group in Microsoft Research Asia since 2019. I received my Master’s Degree in communication and information system(CIS) from Communication University of China in 2018. Before joining Microsoft Research Asia, I was an algorithm engineer working on video-related products in Meitu Inc.

I was passionate about finding new ways to combine engineering and science in the field of machine learning. My research interest lies in video coding and real-time communication technologies such as streaming, real-time audio processing. Currently I am doing research on audio/speech related tasks such as audio noise suppression, echo detection/cancellation and packet loss concealment to improve user experiences for VoIP services.
