Volunteering
Peli teaches computer science at Rainier Beach High School (opens in new tab) every morning, as part of the TEALS (opens in new tab) program. Peli had the chance to be featured in an article of the New York (opens in new tab) Times about TEALS. In collaboration with Michael Braun at Rainier Beach, Peli co-organized AppDay (opens in new tab), a high school event where 900 students enjoyed coding for a day. Read the GeekWire articles about this program from 2014 (opens in new tab) and 2013 (opens in new tab).
Geek of the Week
