Philosopher leading Responsible AI at Microsoft, previously led Responsible AI at Twitch. Researcher in Philosophy, Cognitive Science and AI at Linköping University in Sweden.
My research asks how science and technology emerge from human experience and capacities and then in turn reshape the conditions of experience. That perspective leads me to see AI not as a rival intelligence, but as an extension of human intelligence. Because AI presupposes human intelligence, it’s not beyond our understanding or control.
At Microsoft, I translate this perspective into practice by building tools for safe, secure and responsible AI.
