About

I’m a Senior Researcher in the AI Interaction and Learning (opens in new tab) group at Microsoft Research, where my work focuses on understanding and improving interactions between people and their AI assistants. Before coming to Microsoft, my research background was on modeling human decision-making, both individual (discrete choice) and collective (voting). I completed my PhD at Cornell University in 2024, where I was advised by Jon Kleinberg (opens in new tab). During my PhD, I interned twice at Microsoft, working on recommendations in networks (opens in new tab) and multi-organization recommendation (opens in new tab). In 2023, I was a visiting instructor at Carleton College (opens in new tab), my alma mater.
