About
Luna is a technical program manager at Microsoft Research Asia, Shanghai. She is responsible for delivering External Partnership projects, open-source projects, and AI for Society projects.
If compared to a machine learning model, she is an energetic one with multiple objectives, has a reward function defined by curiosity minus the knowledge learned (thus not even close to convergence), with a remarkably high learning rate, and a flexible optimizer.
Before joining MSRA, she served as a product manager in VoxelCloud, leading the development of two AI disease screening systems. And prior to that, she was a technical analyst in Synced Review.
She received a BS from Tsinghua University in Economics and Finance, an MS from Tsinghua University in Accounting, and an MS from Columbia University in the City of New York in Operations Research.
