Marta Wilczkowiak (SHE/HER)

About

Marta is a Principal Science Lead for Avatar Lab within Mesh Labs in Cambridge. Her team brings together expertise in machine learning, AI, social sciences, art, VFX and gaming to enable avatar-mediated communication and collaboration. Avatar Lab scientists deliver technology that casts human appearance on artist-created characters.  In order to capture one’s unique self under digital stylisation, they collaborate with artists and social scientists to understand the key factors in the perception of human identity and expressiveness.

Marta holds a PhD in Computer Vision from Grenoble Institute of Technology and INRIA and an MSc in Computer Science and Maths from Warsaw University of Technology.
