About
Mike Shepperd provides broad technology, business, and process consulting to teams across Microsoft Research. He has been working on a wide array of Microsoft Research projects since 2008, ranging from Infrastructure and Network design to large scale international event logistics, from designing the divisional Cloud Governance program to architecting an internally facing global video distribution network, and many smaller projects and efforts along the way.
His expertise lies predominantly with systems and processes around Information Technology, Operating Systems, software and device interoperability, and complex problem solving with disparate systems. His most valuable skill is being able to bridge the gap between systems, processes, and people to remove the barriers to success for everyone in MSR. Ultimately empowering people to multiply their impact by focusing on their core competencies.
