About
I am a Principal Researcher with Microsoft Research, with focus on adapting foundation models for specialized domains and developing programmable radio access networks. I hold a Ph.D. from Stanford University and completed my undergrad at IIT Bombay.
I have authored over 30 patents. My research has been directly incorporated into Microsoft product ‘Copilot in Azure Operator Insights’, which leverages foundation models for efficient telco network operations. I published in top-tier systems and networking conferences, with expertise in generative AI, mobile systems, edge computing, sensing and wireless networks. I have received prestigious awards, including the Thomas and Sarah Kailath Stanford Graduate Fellowship and the Silver medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad.
