About
I am a Principal Researcher in the Machine Learning and Optimization (MLO) group in MSR Redmond.
I received my PhD in 2013 from the ACO program at Carnegie Mellon University. Since then, I have been a Professor in the Computer Science department at PUC-Rio, at TU Delft’s EWI department, and at Georgia Tech’s ISyE department.
My research interests are broadly in optimization and decision-making, with focus on foundational aspects of Integer Programming and the design of algorithms for problems with partial information.
