I joined the Microsoft Spatial AI Lab in Zurich in December 2023 and have been working on improving the localization and mapping algorithms of the team, with a special focus on scalability, efficiency, and robustness. Prior to joining Microsoft, I completed my PhD at ETH Zurich in the Computer Vision and Geometry (CVG) group under the supervision of Marc Pollefeys. My PhD thesis aimed to improve local features for localization and mapping, including novel types of features such as line features.

Outside of work, I like to spend most of my time outdoors in the mountains, whether it is for trail running, hiking, biking, climbing, or skiing.
