About
George is an Electrical and Computer Engineer with an MSc in Communication Networks, and a PhD on Photonic neural networks with silicon integrated optical circuits at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Over the past 4+ years, George has worked at the WinPhos Research laboratory and had the opportunity to be an intern at HPE’s Large Scale Integrated Photonics Research Department. Thrilled to have joined Microsoft Research, George is excited about contributing to cutting-edge research in Microsoft’s technology. He will be supporting the Egypt team by conducting research, engineering tasks, and experiments crucial for the development of envisioned greenhouse gas sensors.
