About
Hi there! I am Himanshu Singhal, a Research Fellow working with the ReFoRM team under the leadership of Dr. Manik Varma (opens in new tab). I am currently working in close collaboration with Gaurav Sinha and Siddharth Asokan on scaling retrieval systems efficiently. My current research interests lie in Information Retrieval and developing effective representations for learning, building on my broader focus on efficient, scalable ML systems.
I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. I have previously worked with Adobe Research where I worked on enforcing color control in Diffusion Transformers. I have also collaborated with the CORAL Lab (opens in new tab) at Arizona State University where I worked on efficient methods for table retrieval under the guidance of Prof. Vivek Gupta (opens in new tab).
