Senior Machine Learning Scientist

About

I am a machine learning scientist in the Office AI group at Microsoft. I build foundation models and large-scale training infrastructure to power behavioral intelligence for Microsoft Office products.

I obtained a PhD in particle physics at Caltech (opens in new tab) under the supervision of Prof. Maria Spiropulu (opens in new tab). My research focused on the physics of the Higgs boson, supersymmetry, and the intersection between machine learning and particle physics at the Large Hadron Collider (opens in new tab). Prior to joining Microsoft, I was an AI resident working on a confidential moonshot project at the intersection of AI and biotechnology at Google X (opens in new tab), and a manager in the Offline & Computing group in the CMS collaboration at CERN (opens in new tab).
