Vijay Mital is Corporate Vice President for AI Architecture and Strategy at Microsoft in the AI&R division. He works on efforts that cross multiple product, incubation and research teams. Currently, his work includes AI-led transformation of knowledge-intensive business processes. His recent work at Microsoft includes applying computer vision and IoT for safety and productivity in physical workspaces, and conceiving PowerApps. Before Microsoft, Vijay founded two venture-funded startups in Silicon Valley, and was previously a visiting full professor in the UK.
