About
I’ve been with Microsoft Research since 2011, working in the field of machine learning. These days, I oversee AI Engineering across MSR EMEA, focusing on leveraging our AI infrastructure effectively while fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and sharing. I have the privilege of managing a talented team of AI engineers and researchers working on areas like knowledge retrieval, model quantization, and skill rating. Our work has powered innovative features across Azure ML, Xbox, Viva, and Windows.
Before joining Microsoft, I held engineering roles at companies like Nvidia and CERN. I hold degrees in Computer Science from Cambridge and Technology Entrepreneurship from Sofia. I’ve also taught university-level programming, which I found deeply fulfilling. Outside of work, I stay active with a variety of sports – and I’ll never turn down a challenge in table tennis or table football.
