About
I’m a senior researcher at Microsoft Research in Redmond, exploring the exciting area of real-world evidence (RWE) for better clinical decision making. Using state of the art ML and NLP methods, I help build real-world data (RWD) pipelines to support decisions ranging from clinical trial designs to generating new treatment approaches and, postmarket safety monitoring.
I obtained my PhD in computer Science and Informatics from Emory University where I was working on Information extraction for biomedical and clinical domains. My work mainly focused on extracting keyphrases such as author provided keywords for scientific publications or MeSH term tagging using biomedical ontologies.
