Developments in computer vision technology have led to a plethora of new body tracking applications. These applications share a challenge in accounting for environmental factors that affect the design of the interaction. We present the concept of place-ona, a representations of a “typical” place to support multi-disciplinary teams discussions. We illustrate the place-ona concept with an example of a system intended to support the clinical assessment of MS. We draw out what our team achieved with its use and discuss future work needed.
