Faculty Summit 2016 – Optical Networks for the Cloud
Optical communication is already ubiquitous in cloud infrastructure. It is poised to play an even bigger role as we demand higher capacity and lower latency, which traditional architectures may not be able to deliver. Speakers in this session will discuss the needs of the next generation of cloud networks and promising optical technologies that can be leveraged to meet those needs.
