From Paper to Product
- Gustavo Soares | Microsoft Research
I used to think that creating a product from a research paper was a linear process. First, researchers develop the research, and then, engineers figure out how to transform that research idea into product. After years working to build a product out of my research, I’ve learned that research papers and products can be developed together in a non-linear process, which creates a great environment for innovation.
