If you don't have a work account, and prefer to purchase with a personal account or as a guest you can continue shopping through our normal experience where both personal and business products are available for purchase at the Microsoft Store.

A work account allows you to manage your business purchases separately from your personal items and lets you access exclusive business pricing at the Microsoft Store. It's the same account you use for Microsoft 365, Teams, or Outlook at work.

You can find the status of your order, see tracking details, and other order details through your order history page. You can find the order status page a few ways based on how you purchased with Microsoft:
- If you purchased while signed into a work account, go to your Microsoft Store for Business Order History page and login with the same work account used at the time of purchase to see your past purchases.
- If you purchased while signed in with your personal account, go to Microsoft Account Order History page and login with the same personal account used at the time of purchase to see your past purchases.
- If you checked out as a guest (your order number starts with “G”), use the Guest Order Lookup to view, track, cancel, or return your order.

Microsoft Store (including business purchases) lets you return most physical products within 60 days from the day you receive them, as long as they’re in like-new condition, in the original packaging, with all parts and documentation included. Some products (for example Surface Hub, HoloLens, Windows Dev Kit) are excluded or have different rules.
Start a return from your order history; if an item is eligible, you’ll see a “Request a return” button.
- If you purchased while signed into a work account, go to your Microsoft Store for Business Order History page and login with the same work account used at the time of purchase to see your past purchases and manage your order.
- If you purchased while signed in with your personal account, go to Microsoft Account Order History page and login with the same personal account used at the time of purchase to see your past purchases and manage your order.
- If you checked out as a guest (your order number starts with “G”), use the Guest Order Lookup to view, track, cancel, or return your order.
You can print a prepaid shipping label and send the item back at no shipping cost to you.Once received and verified, refunds are usually processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

You can try to cancel a Microsoft Store order through your order history page, as long as it hasn’t already shipped or entered the final processing stage. If the order is still eligible, you’ll see an option like Cancel item or Cancel order, select it and follow the prompts.
If you don’t see a cancel option, the order likely can’t be canceled. In this case, you can let it deliver and then start a return instead via the same order history page.
- If you purchased while signed into a work account , go to your Microsoft Store for Business Order History page and login with the same work account used to purchase.
- If you purchased while signed in with your personal account, go to Microsoft Account Order History page and login with the same personal account used to purchase to see your past purchases.
- If you checked out as a guest (your order number starts with “G”), use the Guest Order Lookup.

For business purchases, tax invoices are usually available either in your Microsoft Store business order history or in the Microsoft 365 admin center, depending on where/what you bought. Make sure you are signed in with the same account you used to make the purchases.
For Microsoft 365 or other subscription billing, use the admin center:
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center at admin.microsoft.com.
- Go to Billing > Bills & payments to view and download tax invoices for your organization.
For Store hardware/one‑time purchases:- Go to Business order history: View your business order history and sign in with the same work account you used to purchase.
- Open the relevant order; if a tax invoice is available, you’ll see an option to View invoice or Download invoice/receipt as a PDF.

Eligible Retailer Price Adjustment: Valid on purchases of qualifying new consumer physical products from Microsoft Store and Microsoft Experience Centers in select markets for 60 days from the date product is received. Excludes ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, Surface for Business devices and accessories, and refurbished products. An Eligible Retailer Price Adjustment cannot be requested at time of purchase. Microsoft reserves the right to verify an eligible retailer’s advertised price and availability of the product. The product sold by the eligible retailer must be identical to the product sold by Microsoft and must be in stock for purchase at the eligible retailer at the reduced price. Exclusions apply.
Both price adjustments: Price adjustment must be requested within 60 days after the customer receives the product and cannot be completed at time of purchase. Customer is eligible only if the product is in stock for purchase at Microsoft Store or a Microsoft Experience Center. Customer must contact Microsoft to request the adjustment. For purchases from Microsoft Store, contact Microsoft Store Sales and Support and provide any information requested by a representative.
