Skype Translator Open to All
Beginning today, we are making it even easier to use Skype Translator Preview by removing the sign-up requirement. The app is now available to all in the Microsoft Store. If you have Windows 8.1 or 10, you can just download the app and get started right away.
Skype Translator allows you to translate your phone and video calls live between English and Chinese (Mandarin), Italian, and Spanish. If your language is not covered yet, no problem! You can also translate Skype instant messages across all 50 languages supported by Microsoft Translator.
Only the caller needs to download the app. Once you have installed Skype Translator Preview on your Windows 8.1 or 10 PC or tablet, you can make translated calls or instant messages to almost any Skype client including Windows Desktop, Windows Phone, Xbox, iPhone and iPad, etc.
Skype Translator has already proved to be a valuable communication tool around the world, letting people talk to one another across language barriers.
