Introducing the Multilingual App Toolkit v4.0

The newest version of the Multilingual App Toolkit (MAT) is now available for developers who want an easy way of developing apps with multi language support.

MAT v4.0 is an integrated Visual Studio tool which enables developers to streamline localization workflows for their apps. The toolkit helps you localize your apps in any of the supported languages with localization file management, translation support, and editing tools.

The toolkit can be used for apps on Windows 10 UWP, Windows 8.1 Shared apps, Windows Phone, WinFoms, WPF, ASP.Net, or Xamarin iOS and Android apps.

To customize your translated content, you can also use MAT v4.0 with the Microsoft Translator Hub. The Hub is available for free to all Microsoft Translator API subscribers, and offers increasing levels of customization from a simple dictionary to a full language system. Learn more here.

To get started, just open Visual Studio, install MAT v4.0, create your project, add some resources, select your languages, apply your translations (or use the built-in translation services), and run your app.

Keep up to date with product features and updates on the MAT support and feedback page, and learn more in the official MAT blog.
