Here’s how Microsoft’s Reading Progress helped students at Sarasota County Schools catch up and embrace reading—and how the tool can help other students, too.

Immersive Reader provides a variety of ways to assist students with reading, such as the ability to change font sizes and line spacing, color code parts of speech, and have text read aloud to them by a computer.

Reading comprehension is an essential part of any student curriculum, and recognizing the learning gap that the pandemic has created, it’s especially important that each student gets the chance to build their reading skills and increase their confidence in turn.

Last week, Instructure announced that the Microsoft Immersive Reader is now freely available to all Canvas users to make content more inclusive and accessible. Canvas by Instructure is the learning platform that helps great education happen.
